We had a fabulous stay at Kykmekaar Cottage and only wish we could have stayed longer! Set on a beautiful farm with wildlife and stunning sunsets. The cottage has everything one could wish for, including a washing machine, hot tub, and braai facilities. I would highly recommend a minimum of 2 nights here to enjoy the peaceful setting.
We had a great stay, will definitely stop there again for the night.

Fantastic stay. Neat and everything you need. The decor is beautiful and stylish and you feel right at home. When you sit on the porch and visit, sitting feels like a vacation. There is even a carport for your vehicle and also a washing machine. Full DStv is available. The beds also sleep very well. If we can give some advice, the hot water is not hot hot and the pressure is not good. We can really recommend it, best stay.

Peaceful surroundings, perfect getaway for a stopover on a long road trip. Feels like home, clean and tidy and everything one needs for wonderful relaxation and visiting.

We stayed there two years ago and we were very impressed with the tasteful furniture, cleanliness and that everything worked. This time it was also like that. Very professional. We will come back again.

The hot tub works great, plenty of wood is provided. The braai place is covered and sheltered. The bath water is nice and warm and the power is always available due to the solar panels. The personal attention is visible everywhere. I can fully recommend the cottage.
This was our second visit of many that will follow in the future. The standard maintained is exceptionally high. The unit is nicely furnished and very comfortable. What is especially important in today's time is the fact that there is no load shedding, because the unit generates its own power! The icing on the cake was that Laetitia pre-heated the hot tub in the meantime. It was fantastic to be able to immediately relax in it after a long day on the road! Please do not tell anyone about this gem.
Lovely view, quiet and peaceful. Everything you need is there. Nice half way stop to Namibia. The wood fired hot tub is a winner. Very neat. Lovely porch, good asset to be able to admire nature. Would definitely recommend and come again.

The unit with its two bedrooms is nicely furnished. From the kitchen, through the living area, rooms to the porch, a lot of attention is paid to detail. And then, the highlight for me after a long day behind the wheel, the hot tub on the veranda! Remember to take matches and fire lighters with you. Also arrange in advance with Lydia for about three bags of wood that are to heat the bath water.

Krymekaar Cottage is a beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you need. Springbok is a 10 minute drive and has a large Spar where you can buy everything you will need for your stay. The house is beautiful and furnished with so much love. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay with you and I will definitely come again! Next time we will make it much longer than 3 days! The silence with you is heavenly and the spring goats on the farm were a wonderful treat!
I have been using the website's services for some time. This visit was outstanding for our travel group, what was particularly striking and great is the fact that the hostess went out of her way to not only make our visit in the wonderfully equipped house tops, but also her spontaneous communication with us. One can really plan one's trip in such a way that this gem should be high on the bucket list. One night was far from enough.
"Home away from home". What a breathtakingly beautiful place. The accommodation is top class with everything and more. We really enjoyed the hot tub and regretted not booking longer. We will definitely visit again. The farm is beautiful with all the wildlife that stops by regularly.

We received friendly service as well as help with our arrangements. The facilities are more than adequate and the environment invigorates the soul. We would like to stay here again on our way to Namibia. It is the best half-way stop or if you want to get away from the city's craziness.
First of all, the location is close to the town, but far enough to create a farm and beautiful nature environment. Cottages 1 and 2 are nicely furnished and have everything you need. Finally, Leatitia went out of her way to return my wallet, which I had forgotten there, to me in Cape Town.

Krymekaar Cottage is probably one of the best places to stay where I have stayed overnight. Excellently equipped, everything is spotless, and the silence of the farm is a bonus. We are looking forward to a longer stay and then using the wood fired hot tub.

The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, a lot of attention to comfortable and tasteful furniture and the interior decoration. It was so typical of 'on the farm experience'. The solar panels for electricity functioned well and the tarpaulin helped a lot to comfortably hang out on the porch in the evening. We enjoyed walking around the farm. The variety of plants is amazing.
Our family stayed here on our way to Kgalagadi. Everything and more we needed was there and Laetitia is the perfect hostess! This was the second time we have stayed here and will definitely do so again in the future. The accommodation on the farm is really highly recommendable and is top class!

I really enjoyed the overnight stay there and would have liked to stay a day or two longer to enjoy the scenery and tranquility. There was a swarm of locusts that rushed in overnight - it was a bit of a surprise but at least a can of Doom that was left there could deal with the problem. Everything you can expect from the outdoors with the comfort of neat accommodation and braai facilities. I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

A very nice house in the Namaqualand between quiver trees and hills. The unit has everything one needs to stay comfortable, including solar in the event of load shedding. Cozy living area and patio. The decorations are simple yet heartfelt. The hostess (Leatitia) made contact in advance to make arrangements, and everything went smoothly. We look forward to going again!
A wonderful place to stay. We spent hours on the stoep watching the farm and game animals. We'll definitely use this place again if we travel in this area.
Krymekaar Cottage is actually too fancy for an overnight stay for a transit from Namibia to the Cape. There is even a washing machine! I will have to come back and visit for a week before the indoor barbecue - especially in the winter! Thank you Laetitia for your friendly reception!

Krymekaar Cottage is clean, cosy, well equipped, beautifully furnished and feels like a holiday from the moment you step inside. We will definitely stay there again! Leatitia is also very friendly and helpful. It's nice that it's just outside the town - close if you need it, but far enough to give the farm feel with beautiful views in all directions.
